About our clinic

Adelaide Sports was founded by a thirst for knowledge; three progressive and passionate healthcare practitioners coming together to better understand our patient’s and their unique human body. A strong collaborative approach allows us to better understand the complexities of movement and pain and allows us to achieve the best possible outcomes for our patients. Care is deeply ingrained in our culture at Adelaide Sports, with each practitioner demonstrating a deep understanding of the physical, emotional and social impacts of your pain. Kirsty Neumann

Kirsty Studied at the Australian Institute of Fitness completing her Cert IV in Massage Therapy followed by a Diploma in Remedial Massage. She has spent the past 4 years working with sporting clubs and in allied health care clinics. Kirsty has experience working with a wide variety patients and assisting with a number of problems including chronic pain, RSI, tension headaches, sporting sprains and strains, and general muscle soreness, as well as having extensive experience with pre-event sports massage and post-event recovery. She loves working collaboratively with fellow allied healthcare professionals to assist with injury management and rehabilitation. She uses a wide variety of treatment techniques including, but not limited to; Deep tissue massage, dry needling, myofascial release, trigger point therapy and sports massage. She loves working with patients to help them feel better, move better and perform better. In addition to to her work as a remedial massage therapist Kirsty is certified sports trainer and has been the head trainer for SAAFL Div 1&2 clubs Prince Alfred Old Collegians Football Club for the past 3 years and Scotch Womens Football club for 2020 so is very handy with sports taping and stays up to date with advanced taping techniques.

A treatment technique where sterile acupuncture needles are used to release trigger points of any muscle in the body in order to reduce muscular pain.

Injury Triage

If your condition cannot be treated by your Chiropractor you will be appropriately triaged. You will be
referred for the best modality of imaging (X-ray, ultrasound, CT, MRI), with exceptional
communication with your GP and other health care practitioners a long the way.
