Bachelor of Physiotherapy (Hon) - University of South Australia

Techniques used:
Joint mobilisations, soft tissue release, dry needling, exercise prescription and assessment, shockwave therapy (Radial and Focused), patient centred goal setting.

Maria graduated from the University of South Australia with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy. She takes a hands-on, holistic approach to care combining a range of treatment techniques with a strong focus on collaborative, client-centred practice.

Maria has experience working with the Saint Michaels Old Scholars (SMOSH) Football Club and the Royal Adelaide Hospital, treating sports injuries, post-operative rehabilitation, and acute presentations. She is passionate about tailoring treatment plans to each individual’s needs, capacity, and schedule, delivering evidence-based care and education to empower clients and improve function.

A good forest hike with lots of wildlife.

Be able to continue outdoor activities like hiking, kayaking, camping long after retirement.
